Default Pics of my Audio install JL,Alpine

Whats up all. Finally got pics of my audio set up in my Z. Parts as follows,

Alpine CDA-7893 (HU)
Sony XEC-505 (Electronic crossover)
JL Audio 250/1
Alpine MRV-F340
Alpine Type R 6.5" components and coaxs (front and back)
JL Audio 12W0 (2)
Monster wires and distribution block

that's a HUGE box! I take it you like the car that goes "BOOM"? hehe..

may I recommend something? maybe make a trim plate around the eq, it will make it even better

nice install, overall!

Yeah actually I think I'm gonna use a whole new dash kit and try to mount the EQ somewhere else. Couldn't get the EQ to fit quite right.

BTW what you see isn't actually all box. The top piece is just a trim piece that is removeable by poping out two tabs on the sides. The box is underneath and is also removable. As a matter of fact theres even handles on the sides of the box. Built so I could remove it for the track.

Holy crap, thats a big box. Why not build a box in the tire well, save some space?

Nice install though.

Yes those are 12's/// as for box in the spare tire well. Ocassionaly I am required to travel for work. Becasue of this I did not want to be without a spare and at the same time I WILL NOT travel without subs in the trunk. Hence the box is above the spare. I've pulled the box out twice now when going to the track. Its not very heavy. Looks are decieving. The box is smaller than the removeable trim piece above it.
