Default Bose's 10" sub

i bought 2 12" Alpine SWR-1241D and turned out to be way too big to fit it in the trunk with a bandpass box, and i wanted to save as much weight as possible. so i'm thinking about getting the 10" Bose that comes with Touring model, mine is a Track so i didnt get one.

i just want to see how loud they are, and the quality of it since i think that i've heard from someone awhile ago saying that it's horrible. i dont know if it's true or just from one person...

still need to save up the $$$ first!

thnx all!

There's just not alot to them. Do a search, it's pictured in a couple. BTW- I really am selling my entire BOSE system on this board to the highest offer. You can do a search for FS: Bose touring system, or i'll post a link later. I'm installing a Basslink in mine, that's a good option for not alot of $$.

lol! tnx for the whole Bose system, but i dont really need them all. just the sub, cuz im planning on replacing all of the stock speakers with the Alpine ones. and for the head-unit, im about to remove the Alpine one that i installed 8 months ago on the Celica over to the Z. im just waiting for it to get warmer outside.

tnx for the offer! gl on your sales.

I put an Infinity Perfect 10vq sub in the Bose location. It is a free air capable sub and it sounds great.

How did you mount your 10vq in the Bose location? It does not seem to fit the mounting bracket. Did you use a box instead? I just bought one and am not sure how I am going to place it back there.

Don't get BOSE...

I have the BOSE system in my Touring and I'm not happy with it... yes it sounds better then the non-bose system which are found in other Z models, but I want more out of my BOSE... I really want to keep the cd-changer and the stereo b/c it costs 2 much $ to buy new stereo with cs changer and cassett player, is it possible just to change 1 or 2 speakers in the back and or the amp to make it sound any louder and better then the stock BOSE... ? Any advice would be nice...

I have the bose sub I pulled out. If you want it, its yours. You pay to ship it. It doesn't have any weight to it, so it shouldn't cost much.

I'll sell you my Bose 10" sub for $50, and to really make this deal worthwhile, I'll throw in the 6 disc CD changer headunit, tweeters and 6 1/2" speakers from the rear bar for free.

Send me money for shipping plus $50 for the sub and it all can be yours.

PM me if you're interested.
