hey guys.. i'm looking to replace my BOSE system.. what am i going to replace.. which speakers besides the headunit of course.. aslo am i adding/replacing amps?

i'm pretty much a noob at this.. but i do want a better system.. also if you have any suggestions as far as new equipment goes.. let me know.. altho keep in mind that i'm on kind of a tight budget..

New Alpine 9833. Great unit, great features, ability to change the front to Nissan amber.

 

I'm in the same situation as you. I'm gonna use infinity speakers in the front, leave the rear stock and add an Alpine 4 channel amp. As for HU, not sure what im going to replace that with. I'm on a tight budget too, but i already had the amp sitting in my garage. I just need to buy a headunit as well as the front speakers.

go for Alpine type R

 

go for either boston acoustic or diamond audio for your speakers...jl for your subs is always a good choice..whatever headunit fits your tastes(look around)..and whichever amps fit your bills
im looking at boston and diamond myself for some speakers

 

let me know if you pick something good then.. and yea from what i understadn jl is kinda the standard for subs.. as for other stuff good to know
