quick update - got the headunit now, so good to go there.

I listened to a setup this past weekend in a friend's Supra with some Morel Speakers and 2 Audison amps - really nice overall (I forget what sub he had) - very musical and natural sounding to me, which is what I am going for.

Downside to the Morels is price - tehy look to be way more $ than many other speakers out there, but if it means a better overall sound, I suppose its worth it.

Going to visit another shop this comig weekend to have a look at some other amps and speakers, so we'll go from there

 

back from the dead.....speaker wise I got a smoking deal a few months back on some Focul Utopia's..still not installed yet as I need to select an amp, but thats why I figured I'd bump the thread and see if anyone had some new high end amps worth checking out. For a HU, I went with the Kenwood 7015

Definitely will be contacting the guy in NJ about some of the people's recommendations, but if there any other places in NY, let me know!
