I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but most sat. radios installed aftermarket (mine included) run through the stock HU via an FM modulator. In other words, you tune your FM radio to a certain channel and the XM radio plays through it. You adjust volume, base, treble etc on your HU.

I take it you have a 2004?

You'll need a sat radio wiring harness and a Nissan XM tuner. Contact http://www.infinitiwholesaleparts.com/en_US/ for good prices on that set up. It will be several hundred dollars, but will be fully integrated.

If you want to go less expensive, the XM Commander or Roady or SkyFi all have FM Modulators that plug into the antenna and you then tune to an FM channel to hear the Sat Radio.
