Audio experts - need advice
I have installed my WX-7700MDX. I have yet to install the speakers, Kappa 60.5CS componets for the doors and Kappa 62.5I for the rear, as well as a Basslink. I am held up by going krazy trying to choose an amplifier.
My budget is the $150 price range. Don't need huge power, rather have clean sound and TRUE rms power.
Things making me krazy:
Should I just get a two channel amp for the front, and let the head unit power the rear speakers? If so, which amp?
Or should I get a multi (four channel) amp to power all four? If so, which amp?
Or should I get two two channel amps, 1 for the front, one for the rear? If so, which amps?
The head unit has 5.5v RCA preouts.
Thanks for your help.

I was in the same boat. I ended up getting a 4 channel amp, in case I changed my mind later, bridged it to 2 channels and did my fronts first. It sounded fine so I left the stock in the rear powered by my deck. They are attenuated so much already that they are just rear fill. If I ever change my mind I can drop new ones in the rear and then use all 4 channels on the amp. Problem solved.
