Kenwood DDX-7015 Double Din 6.5 Inch
For those of you that have access to the AAFES Exchange (Acitive Duty military, retired, or DOD civilian personnel), they have the Kenwood DDX-7015 available with no tax and free shipping. Your total cost will be $799.00. I just confirmed that as of 02 May 04, they have plenty in stock.

It was $799 when it first appeared on the AAFES website, but it just recently went up after they depleted their first shipment. Even at $899 it's a fantastic price. That is all you will pay. No shipping cost or taxes!! I am seeing them sold in the local audio shops here for around $1399 plus you have to pay for taxes.

Also, when I purchased mine it took just short of 2 weeks to get it. I thought it was being shipped from within the states, but it turns out that they ship from a warehouse in Japan. The tracking # they gave me did no good because it was coming through an APO.

Is there any way someone on here could get this for me? I'm not in the military and unfortunately no one I know is either. I'm in So-Cal and would be willing to throw in an extra 50 bux for your effort... so $950. Although I'm not sure how we would actually work out the exchange.
If anybody could help me get this it'd be a big help since I don't have $1400 to spend on it.

I would be interested in helping you lgbdog..I doubt I could get it directly sent to your house so I have to get the 7015 sent to me then send it out to your place. So you would have to pay 950.00+shipping from my residence (I am stationed in Jacksonville FL) Post or PM if you are interested. I am in no rush to order mine. I am still trying to decide on the other components to my system.

Oh. The South Carolina you have listed through me off. My brother is stationed on Lejeune at PMO. He left recruiting duty and went there about 9 months ago. He has a sweet 02 Camaro SS with the anniversary package. It's red with white and silver stripes down the hood and should be clean as hell because he never drives it except for every Friday to work. If you see him give him a little sample of what your Z's got. LOL Watch out though, that LS1 in his car is no joke.

Too funny..Back to the thread though. done12many2 did you do a self install? I am not experienced with in-dash monitors and just was wondering if you could shed some light. I'll be sure to conduct a thorough search on a DIY install if I decide to go through with this.
