Question Compustar of Clifford Matrix??

Somebody over the weekend kicked my door in while my car was parked and now I am considering a 2-way Aftermarket alarm. I narrowed it down to the Compustar 2WSS or Clifford Matrix 3.5. Was wondering if any of you guys had suggestions as to which one I should get installed.

I noticed both alarms do not come with anything. I want the trunk module, radar and possibly windows up/down features. Do you think these features are worth the extra money, or should I just get the bare bone alarm with the 2 way pager??? Any suggestions are welcome and if anybody has another alarm they recommend, please feel free to post. Thanks guys.

I install both of these products at the store i work at, and i would def. suggest the compustar, i have on in my car. Also window up/down can easily be done through the lock wires. Ask your installer about it.

I have the compustar on my car. I think its awsome - I don't see where you got the idea that it doesn't come with anything. Mine roles my windows up/down, has a trunk release, turbo timer, a paging system, it's loaded. What is the best is the fact that it has auto start for manual transmissions. It's great for cold mornings to start it from inside and have it warm when you enter the car. Or hot summer days, have the AC going before you even walk to the car. I work on the 3rd floor of my building and I can start the car out in the parking lot (almost a block away) from my desk.

Well, just got the Compustar installed. No problems as of yet and it was a pretty clean/fast install. Just paid $700 to get the shoe dent repaired on my door and just paid a little under $700 to get the Compustar. So, to not get depressed I just tell myself I spent $1400 for the alarm cause if I keep thinking about the $700 I had to spend for the door, I'll go nuckin futs!!!!

Anyway the guy that is doing the install said he could do the compustar for $375 installed. He is authorized dealer. Was wondering if that is a good price?

Hey redls1, that is a freaking great price if you are getting the 2WSS, especially if it comes with options like the trunk, windows, etc...

just wondering, that 500/1 might be a little overkill for your W3 - hell i have just a single 500/5 JL amp that powers my entire system.
-focal 165kp components in doors- front
-infiniti 6&1/2 3ways behind the seats - rears
-JLAudio 10W6v2 - sub

with the focals, there is no need for rear components. Many people completely disconnect the rear speakers, I have mine just because they were given to me. Just putting in my .02 and tryin to save ya some $$$

I already bought the speakers for the rear so it was no big deal, the alarm all I know is its the 2 way but the is less than the top of the line its only 1500 ft compared to the other one. On the amp I got a good deal on here. It was $550 for both amps so I couldnt pass it up.
