Default 10" Infinity Sub in stock location

So, I trial fitted my Infinity Perfect 10.1 and she doesn't fit directly in there. Does anybody know of an adapter to fit her in there with? I looked on the factory BOSE sub and didn't find anything.

Default problem

Depends on the problem.

Is it just that the bolt holes don't line up? If so, can't you just drill more holes?

woah !!!Time out!! that factory location isnt sealed properly to run a good sub in you will need to build an enclousure or else that infinity sub will be running free air and will sound like crap!!!!!

I know that I need an enclosure, which I will make to fit in the stock location. I also know there are better locations than back there.

In the interim I want to just place it in the stock location. Then, I will put in a box or find a way to seal that area.

I don't want to take up what little room I have in the truck/hatch area, and I really want to keep everything stock looking.

That being said, it is just a little too small for the opening. So, none of the holes line up. I was hoping someone else has done this and knew of a cheap mount.

Every install ive seen they have taken out the stock metal sub box panel that the bose sits in and built a box in that location and then throw the plastic back on so you keep the factory look.

Default Basslink

The basslink is a sub, amp, and enclosure in one. It doesn't need any additional enclosure. That is one of the things that makes the basslink a bargain. (enclosures ain't cheap)

You can see my basslink mounted in the stock location here:

I am building an enclosure for the stock location. Do I need to Dynomat the stock area, or will the enclosure take care of it?

If you are running a sub in it's own enclosure you only need dynamat to reduce road noise or prevent rattles.

Sorry for the delayed response but i thought you were putting a 10 " sub back there that needed an enclousure. the infinity basslink is its own self amplified enclousure and doesnt need a box built for it..

On a second note i think the basslink may be too big for that location however if it isnt then i guess just throw some dynamat in there and call it good!
