Those of you who have gone with the Infinity 6.1 Perfects am I to understand that the tweeter that comes with those speakers are put in the stock location on the doors after removing the stock tweeters. I ask because I dont really see much talk on this forum regarding the stock tweeter and or its replacing. Im guessing there is not much room for aftermarket tweeters. Thanks

 

Yea the new tweeter goes right in place of the stock tweeter. It's a really easy replacement. Once you've got those doors off you can figure out how to do it in a second.

 

I had the 6.1 perfects and the tweeters just switch out with the stock ones. i switched over to the focal 165kp and t52 utopia tweeters and all we did was file sthe hole to make it fit the larger tweeter
