What are you going to use the screen for? I got the Farenheit t-7000MHR, same size and resolution. Only difference is it only has one output insted of two, it also dosen't have the buttoms on the side for volume and picture control like the 7001, but it does have that feature you just have to use the remote. I'm using it only for a DVD, so it is exactly what I wanted and I only paid $164 for it at Discountjungle.net.

does the 7000 fit in the stock navigation location on a non-nav 2003? I thought the 7001 was the right screen for the job? Anyone have any input on this?

Ohh, thats the difference. not really worth the extra to me for the 7001. Cheapest I found that for was $300.

How was ordering from Discountjungle? I've heard mixed things about them, but then again, that goes for every other net electronics store as well....

Yes the 7000 fits perfectly into the non-nav cubby box. I test fit it as soon as it came in, snug, almost to a point where you don't need any fastening hardware. Don't worry about the dimentions, I thought the same thing too. For some reason the dim. for the 7000 are with the surround attached, it just pops off.

Zrated, I had no problems what so ever with Discountjungle.net. The cheapest price I found, fast shipping, and they gave me a tracking number as soon as it was shipped out. Great.

Hope that helps you guys out, I highly recommend if all you are going to use the screen for is DVD, get the 7000 and save yourself some money.

Yeah, I had doubts about it too, cause I did a search for the 7000 and couldn't find anything. I even started a thread and no one responded, so I said screw it and ordered it anyways and I got it right the first time. PERFECT.
