Yup, that is where I got mine, and what I paid

And murrman100 is right, they are not an authoized dealer, but they say if you have a problem with the unit, you can return to them.
They had a good feedback rating, so I went for it...
Mine will be here tomorrow!

I got the Nissan wiring harness, and the Kenwood harness, so it should be a pretty easy install.

toykilla, I noticed in your install (thanks for the step by step btw) you have another harness here

Looks like with a fuse.
That is what Comes with the hu correct ?

And you just used the harness for power, didn't run it to the battery ?

Thanks
Below is the Nissan and Kenwood harnesses

Stock Nav voice will be lost....
Unless you custom wire something to a separate speaker, etc...

Question working with motorized nav door

GREAT,
so what did you have to do different with the dash removal since you had the motorized door? I have seen a lot of posts with non nav for dash removal, and you just flip up the mat. So how did you work around motorized door. Any pitfalls to avoid, any tips.
PLEASE!
Thanks.

ACP... the bottom picture you posted looks like the 2 harnesses just plug into each other. Do they?
The left one is the kenwood harness correct? Is the nissan harness the non-bose, or for bose? Sorry for so many questions, its just that all of the kenwood harnesses i've had that came w/ the units (incl. an older fold out tv unit) doesn't have that white plug at the end. And most did come with that inline fuse on the constant power lead.

The harness on the right, is the Metra 80-7550 Nissan 95-Up
Got it on eBay from a seller named das181 for $9.99 shipped

The harness on the left is the Kenwood MET KN1680 or KN16-80
It plugs right in the the back of the Kenwood (got the HU today)
and the other end plugs into the Nissan 80-7550
And that plugs right into the z's wiring harness.

Only wiring looks to be that fuse, and ground

This is what Mark (Phatmitzu) was referring to when he said he had to drill new holes in the stock bracket.
The HU will stick out about 3/8" to far, so drilling new holes that much further back, gets it flush

I started with the top left hole there, and then did the top right.
To make sure I had the right angle, of how the HU sits in the dash, I used the stock braket as a guide, so that it was good and level

Here is a picture.

Thanks for the info One last question... it looks like you have the non-bose stereo, do you know if that same harness should work with the bose speakers? Thanks again.

ps. great idea with using the stock faceplate to cover up... keep us posted on how well that works out for you when it's all done.
