It depends if you want do display the amps or not. Do you use your trunk space a lot? I would leave it how it is.
As far as 10s or 12s, you can fit either 10s ported or 12s sealed in about the same air space. The ported box will be a lot louder than the sealed. However, the sealed will be a lot cleaner. It just depends on what you listen to and how you like your bass.

Very nice set-up. I've always liked the subs positioned in each corner of the trunk, very efficient use of space. Where did you get your sub enclosures done? I'd like to get one for my Z as well.

The amp rack I did myself back in the day when my subs were behind the seats.
I wish I could have made these myself !!! I had never used fiberglass before, so I paid ... and watched (local shop in Plano - Car Toys). Builder had been doing fiberglass for a long time (10+ years).
Costs involved:
Amp Box (3/4" MDF) - $100 or so in parts ... made a while ago, but $100 should cover the costs
Sub Boxes - I paid $500 (labor) and $60 (supplies) for the pair of them, I supplied the carpet so it would match what I already used. Snug fit and look pretty cool. Took the shop 12 hours to make them .. a solid day.

Diggin the install! That's a great idea. Personally, the only reason I'd move the amps to the space behind the seats is if you want to put your spare back in. Otherwise, this looks great. Regards to displaying them back there, there are plenty of ways to make that look good. That's where I'm mounting my amps and I plan to make them 'displayable'. Also, if you're currently having any problems with amps overheating, they might get better ventilation back there, depending on your set-up. That's a pretty cavernous space behind the seats, easy to get good cooling if done properly. Good luck! Again, love those boxes, they look great!
