Infinity Perfect 6.1 Speakers
I've been trying to find a shop where I could listen to this speaker for the past weeks, but unfortunately I did not find any...
Does anyone know about a shop in the LA area that has this speakers on display??
Or maybe somebody has those installed in their Z...that would be great too...
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Loïc

I have Infinity Perfect 6.1 for the front and the rear powered by a jl 300/4 and two infinity perfect 10.1 subs in the rear powered by a jl 500/1. Several audiophile friends have told me it is the best system they have EVER heard in a car.

Ya im sure some expensive BAs might sound better, but for the money they simply cant be beat. I have a similar setup to wren, with infinity fronts and rears powered by a 300x4 jl audio amp and the sound is simply amazing. Even the car audio installer said it sounded awesome. He did dynamat the hell outta the car and i installed a jl audio 10w6 in the stock location.

nope, in my first post i said i had perfects in the front, and 6002i in the rears. No real point in putting component speakers in the rear. Some people just leave the stockers, but i got them for 68 bucks and its worth it to me.

mofoz, how much did your installer charge you on the dynamat? hows the sound compare before and after? Is it worth to dynamat? my installer is going to charge me like $700 for the whole car, he said its so expensive is because there are a lot the works involve and takes 1 full day to do it. What do you think, should I do it?

the door kits were about $75 per door, but i had to get another $259 big wedge kit to do the sub area and rear speaker section. Add in wires, dash kit, and i paid $1100 for install. Labor was $600 for 10 hours. You can get the dynamat online from onlinecarstereo.com and it would be cheaper most likely. Door kits from there are $69 for one, so $140 for two, plus you can get a bunch of the other bulk kits, and be way under that price of $700. My installer did the whole sub area, pus the glove box and rear speaker area. It simply sounds amazing.

Good lord ya'll paid a TON for dynamat. I bought a 100sq ft roll of fatmat for $100 at www.fatmat.com and took it to have it installed while all my interior panels were already off for the stereo install I did myself. $300 in labor ready I have a completely dynamatted/fatmatted car and it is definately worth $400 total.
