Sezzz, how do you like your unit so far. Did you get movies to play while moving?

mine doesn't stick out either.

Why are people so concerned with this?

i loooove it!

and yeah, i grounded the parking brake wire. that's all you gotta do! i did it for the passinger on long trips. they love the xbox

a lot of people used the trim plate that came with the n1 and it does make it stick out pretty far. all you gotta do is use the one from the metra kit and it looks sweet!

If thats a current picture of your avic then it would look better if the trimplate flipped the other side up cause its backwards

I just got an AVIC installed. It looks identical to Sezzz`s (other than than trim plate)
I didn`t even have to ask the install guy to hook it up so movies can play while the car is moving, he just did it. He said everyone asks him, so now he just does it.
Amazing unit, I love it

Kinda off topic, but my friend was telling me of a case in CA. where a driver is being charged with murder after hitting a pedestrian. He was watching a movie while driving, and since he bypassed the parking brake, he is being charged with murder instead of manslaughter. Just a thought, but the installer could get into a lot of trouble for doing that.

Whoa, thats crazy. I have not really yet played movies while driving. I tried it just to see if it would work. I have to take a ferry sometimes to visit friends, so putting on a movie while in the line up makes the time go by pretty quick.
I see what you mean though, seeing as I didnt ask him to install it that way.
