Default Bose Head Unit Failure Help

OK, a couple of weeks ago, I had my original head unit lose almost all of the sound of the left channel when playing CDs (radio was fine).

They replaced my HU. The new one has a different sound than the first, especially noticable on radio (more muddy by default).

I had a problem with a burned CDRW in slot one. It would occasionally pop up on the display saying "Press Eject". I could usually get it to spit the CD back out, but if I put it back in, it would generally play (sometimes just going to CD 2 and back to CD 1 would fix it). I really didn't experiment too much to see if it was related to the CDRW or not, because it soon got worse.

Now, it will not play any CD, nor will it eject the four that are in the HU. You can hear the motor try to run the CDs up and down, but all it will do is tell you to repeatedly hit eject, then not do anything.

Any idea of how to get the CDs out before I take it to the shop? I'm tempted to pull it out and start disasembling I guess I'll call tomorrow to get a new one ordered. Maybe I can talk them into ordering me a 2004 HU with the sat. interface so I can get the converter for line in that works on the 2004

Don't take it apart, it will trash your warranty.
Have them replace it again and if that doesn't work, then kick the Bose to the curb.
