Default iPod adapter?

I have an iPod that I would like to hook up to my stock Bose headunit (6 CD changer).

There is the tape and FM adapter route, both which are not very good.....

Wondering if anyone knew of some work-around that would enable me to rig a line-in into the current stereo.

Thanks!
