I tried a search and didn't come up any info on the Alpine HDA-5460 Hard Disk Drive Mp3 player. I also tried epinions and a few other review sites.. Nothing..
Anyways, I ordered one tonight from Crutchfield, $399 with free shipping (marked down from $999). It looks pretty awesome - holds 16GB of wav, wma or mp3 files, works with any Ai-Net head unit and looks great.. It will also plays files in a number of different ways (playlist, type, etc).
I'm planning on getting the G35 double DIN conversion and getting the Alpine CDA-9835 head unit to run everything. Both the CDA-9835 and HDA-5460 use the BioLite display so they should match perfectly and look good. I know I could of bought an Ipod and the Ai-Net interface for that but I like the idea of having a in-dash unit better. plus, alot of my music is in wma format so the Ipod wouldn't of accepted it.
Any thoughts??

I just ordered the cda-9835 and it says hard drive ready. Where can I buy a hard drive to hook to it. It says mm hard drive ready. This is not for the ipod interface either. It states that it has that as well
