I am installing JL Audio XR650 csi compenent speakers in my G35 Coupe. Today I took off my door panel, and not to my surprise, the factory speaker hole is an oval, and my JLs will not fit flush in the hole. Do other brands also have this problem, and is there any kind of installation mount that is available? Thanks for the help.

 

You can create an MDF faceplate that you can cut to the required shape and drill over the oval. That will give you a little extra room and the circle needed for your component.
