Default Help running wire to fuse box...

I need to run a constant and a switched power line to the fuse box from the stereo. Can anyone assist me with the best way to do this, which fuse to use, etc.

The device I am installing requires 12V.

Thanks!

Just curious, why are you trying to run it to the fuse box? There are wires from the factory stereo there providing both constant 12v and switched. What are you doing that requires new wires to be run?

I am installing a Soundgate ALNS1, Dension ICELink and an iPod.

I can attach to the stock HU CD Changer input, but the Soundgate requires both a switched and constant 12V power source.

If someone can tell me which wires behind the HU to tap into or if it's better to run directly to the fuse box, I just need some details on getting those two power sources before I rip into my dash and install all this.

Any help will be appreciated and I will document the install for others.

Thanks!
