Anyone purchase the DDX-7015 from this Ebay retailer?
I found a PNAV-7015 pkg for 1599.99 from INDOAUDIO and wanted to know if anyone has ordered thru them?
I really want the Eclipse AVN-2454, but htis price is killer and I don't think I will be keeping my QX4 after the lease--don't know yet. Any thought would be appreciated.

Yeah, $1600 was what I paid for that package. Great deal!!!
PLUS -- it's better than the Eclipse AVN-2454 because of the Phone # Reverse Lookup. Say you are trying to find a restaurant. Just put in the #, and it maps out the route. Eclipse does not have that feature. VERY useful!

this is with the ddx-7015 and the kna-4100 navigation. reg price is around 2400 to 2900. This is still less than the AVN. which I can get for 2100 but with install is around 2600.

I have ordered form indoaudio before, not sure it is worth it. I ordered a JL e1400D and after 4 weeks of waiting and no amp I got my money refunded. Basically the guy sells stuff he might not have yet. I have a friend that did order the same amp and he got his 5 weeks after he ordered it, it was exactly what he ordered, brand new in box, retail version. But as far is the guy ok?? He didn't fight me on the refund, but he was kind of hard to get ahold of at times when I had questions. And it did kind of bother me that I had an e-mail from him saying the amp was in stock.
But with the kenwood, be careful buying it online, I've already had to have mine replaced due to a glitch in it (it fried itself). From what I hear the 7015 is a little touchy at times, so it might be worth it to buy it local if just for the piece of mind that if it dies you have backup. Because Kenwood won't warranty the unit if it isn't an authorized dealer, and as far as I know only Crutchfield is online authorized.
But it's a good deal if you take the risk.
Oh, and I looked at the Eclipse, the kenwood is better, and if you get the Nav, the Kenwood is only $100 more and then it will do everything the Eclipse will. But if you like Eclipse (I do) then wait, the next version of that model is going to be significantly better.

Also, I forgot to mention if someone is charging $500 for the install of one of these you are getting ripped. There is nothing to it unless you need some kind of custom molded fiberglass dash to fit it. If it is just a metra kit away from fitting don't pay more then $200 to install.

yea this guy does do great work Ok let me ask you this I agree about the buying online thing and getting a deal of $600 less on that kenwood if something broke or fried then you would be better off spending the extra money local to have it fixed free.
BUT! I can get that pioneer avic-n1 deck from a local dealer (brother in law) for $800 and they sell for over 2g. so what route would you go? I dont really like the flip up as much as the kenwood myself but for that price I might have to learn to love it.

I bought mine at Cartoys, it worked when I installed it on Sat night, then Sunday morning it was dead. I took the unit back to Cartoys, he bench tested it and it was 100% dead, no power at all. He didn't have an extra one in his store, he called the next closest Cartoys, they had one, I went and got it, and had it back in before lunch on Sunday. So the extra $450 I spent buying it local turned out to be well worth it.
Personally I don't like the fold out screens, but that specific kenwood is AWESOME!!!! I mean G meters and accleration data in the HU!!!! So cool!!!

I think to spend the extra cash for it at a local store is the best way then for me. I really don't want the hassle of trying to return it and get the run around if something breaks. I went thru this three years ago with Alpine's SPX speakers. Found them for 250.00 instead of 700.00 from an online dealer. --NIGHTMARE!

Item #1 - Be wary of online pricing that is too good on a pricey unit such as this. I was leaning that way, but many of the online sellers are not authorized Kenwood/Eclipse/whatever retailers. If they are not, it will be a big headache for you if you ever have a warranty issue. For me, I'll take that chance on a $200-$300 item... but not on a $1000+ head unit. Just my .02.
Item #2 - Install it yourself. did mine last weekend with a friend helping. It's a piece of cake to get in.

very nice! I can install headunits, only problem is on two things. One is I would need to fabricate a trim plate because my trim area (double din) is angled slightly on the right side instead of being straight. Two, where is the speed pulse wire located usually?
Also, I just got an e-mail for a so called second chance offer from some one is the UK, 650.00 I bidon ebay but someone keeps sending me other offers. Sounds like a scam!

I'd be wary of the second chance offer as well.
Check Metra for a dash kit. I bought their kit for the 350Z. All stock mounting brackets can be used on the DDX7015, so I only needed the face trim piece. Cut out the single din separater and mounted. It's a perfect fit.
Sorry... I'm not familiar with the terminology "speed pulse wire". If you can tell me what this wire connects to or its purpose, i can probably tell you how we wired it in my Z.
