Default dynamat help

Guys,

I am looking to dynamat my stock location area and also the surrounding areas (platic panels where you would need to remove before replacing the rear speaker).

My question is with dynamat, do they have a self adhesive? Also, do you have to puncture the holes where the plastic panels would snap back in (or is it by force, once you snap it, it would just make the holes)?

How many sq. foot do I really need for the area of dynamt?

Thanks,
Tony

Yea, it's like a sticker. It would help a lot if you take a heat gun or hair dryer to soften it up. Also, you can use cardboard as a outline then place the dynamat on and cut the shape.

The rear area you mentioned is probably the trickiest to get out out (panels). If you dgo through that, you might want to consider removing the other panels on the sides and back and doing the Dynamat in one swoop. I would say maybe 15 - 30 sq ft to do the area you mentioned..more like 75 - 100 to do the entire interior.
