i have the same small gap. doesnt really bother me but i figured i would do it right this time and get a double din headunit so i bought an avn5500. might as well get nav while i am it, i figured.
a 2003 will not fit a 06 model, due to alot of problems fitting, etc. Ive tried it on my 06 with the 03 cluster lid i bought from a forum member and it wouldnt fit, the layout was different with my friends 03 350z. There is a way, you can pay alot of money to get it customed =)... good luck~
but man nice installations.... was it hard?

i dont have gap now..its all good..
i didnt do the installations lolz..i had a professional did it for me as i dont trust myself with those stuff.
