Screens, Different people set this stuff up differently, depends what you want. You can hook your monitor up to the 12V rail of your PC power supply, so it's on when your computer is. Or in my case, I ran a switch and relay so I can turn the audio on without the key (show/parked mode) or with accessory like the factory and it will come on with the key. Most screens auto on and auto off when you apply and remove power.
The real trick with these CarPCs is a good DC to DC power supply that knows what to do when you start your car (and have very little power to run with), shut off your car (want it to send a graceful shutdown to the mobo, maybe keep it running for 15 minutes before shutting down, etc), look for Opus and M2-ATX power supplies.
Blurry, no, The screens I have seen people use, Xenarc, Lilliput and Dynamix have a real fine dot pitch and many more pixels than you can possible use. They look awesome. I have an early model hooked up to this computer and it, set at 800x600 it looks just as good as my Viewsonic VP9206 at 1280x1024, only much smaller. It's cool.

I use FrodoPlayer and iGuidance for Nav. The skin is the RexBruMet brushed aluminum skin that I modified to fit my G. However, I am thinking about changing to RoadRunner, because it has more options, and currently is still being supported by the creator, while Frodo (of Frodoplayer) seems to have dissappeared.
I still have the Bose head unit, I've just replaced all the speakers and the amps. The Bose head unit is actually really good, it's just that the speakers and amps are sub-par.
Anyways, your set-up, like I said, is very nice as well.

As for Roadrunner, I can't help you with that, since I haven't tried it yet.

I have an OT question:
Would the software you guys are using for your car pc's work for a home media pc? I have an extra computer laying around with two 200 gig hard drives in it and a TON of MP3's and Movies so if I could set up a remote to work with it and software similar to the above it would make for a pretty sweet set up.

Sure, it's not a problem at all. In fact, before my carPC was installed in my car, I had the computer on my workbench, hooked up to a regular monitor, in order to install windows, and the front end, and all that, which is what most people do

You put it in your "Startup" menu. Everything in there launches automatically on Windows start

Well I was just looking for a front end that could access all my movies/music and open up my tv tuner. The different software you guys are using seem to do all of that and very well.
