Default Pics of my install

Hello my fellow Z owners, i have FINALLY stsrted my system...i posted some pics to show you the progress...btw, all of the pictures in this post were shot on the first 2 days of the install.

I did all the work myself so dont be too harsh please

heres a picture of the car


here is what im putting in it:
Gateway 21" LDC monitor
alpine 600W momo amp
alpine 250W 4 ch amp
2 alpine 10" type R subwoofers
2 alpine 6 1/2" type R speakers
Panasonci 7" flip out LCD screen
custom boxes(made by me )







this is how the install is comming


















welp, there you have it...thats my install so far, ill keep you guys posted, positive comments are welcome

those cars arent mine(but the Z is), they're my parents,(dad has a 04' lotus esprit n 05 boxter s n mom has a S500) i fixed the links

Good lord man... what do you do for a living?

Nice Z and the setup will look good. Can't wait to see the finished product.

The cars in the background aren't too shabby either.

oh and right now im getting my masters in architecture from Georgia Tech

lol i was looking through the pictures and i found this one of my dad trying to work the saw lol



update:
im going to home depot tomorrow to get some plexiglass to cover the amps, then ill cut my factory Z trunk mat to cover the floor and just leave the amps open with the plexiglass on top

EDIT:
the red top optima battery is going to power everything

isnt the thickness of the mdf for the mids a little overkill?

yeah but its the only wood i had so i figured that it wouldnt hurt...and i see your located in syracuse, i used to live by there....rochester to be exact

and Tech is an awesome school, their football team is pretty good this year

Dont know if your going to get much use out of those mids in the trunk (good for shows though, seems to be the goal with a 21 inch monitor in the back). You are going to make an enclosure out of that board holding your subs right? Dont know if they will impress in a free air setup.
Props for doing it yourself though!

yeah im gonna make a sealed box for the sub but first i have to make sure i have enough volume back there for the subs to souns good, then i'll finish the box after i do some more research n run all of my wires. And yes the mids in the trunk are for the monitor b/c the monitor speakers suck.
