What did it look like? Was the square at the bottom that surrounds the stock cd deck a COMPLETE square? or was it open at the end?(the one that didn't fit)

Are you serious? If so, that sucks because I already ordered the other parts. If there is another part does anyone know the part number I will have to order that too. Man this is a lot more expensive than the '05 install lol

I just found this in the service manual, please say this little piece comes with the $300 switch assembly:

I can't find a part number or a description of what it even is. Does it look bad without it? This is starting to get frustrating. I need to find this part ASAP because I need to order it before the other parts are shipped so that I don't have to pay shipping twice. I mean that part can't be expensive can it?

Eddie@performance sent me this part number saying it may be it.

68499-CF40A

It came up on their site as a center panel finisher but I can't tell if it is a different part than this one, which is the wrong one.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...=4&catalogid=2

Do you know the part number for the second link?

the 68499 number is what you need, but the dealership is having a hard time ordering due to a Nissan alocation problem....when thet input this p/n in their system somehow they can not order...is been like that for months with no fix yetI just finished talking to the dealership and the problem is you need a vin # for an '06 350z with nav. in order to place the order...

Thanks. I've got a few numbers for guys i use to deal with at Nissan Japan from when i had my Skyline so i might just call them directly and see if i cant get it. They usually have better luck than anyone here with hard to get stuff.

hey mini did you get the center finisher panel yet. all you had to do was give them a vin of a 06-07 with nav. i ran into this problem today when i went to order the part. they said there was no order # so he couldnt order the part. he said was going to call nissan to see what the problem was. that will probably take forever.

I spoke with performance and it seems that there is no pricing for the '06 OR '07 part number. It looks like nissan hasn't sent out new prices or something for these parts. That kind of sucks. I hate leaving a job unfinished.
