Default SK Prod. Din Plate (with Z) installed *PICS*

Today I found a little time to go ahead and install the DIN plates I have been making. This one I used black plastic and put it behind the cut out. It looks REALLY sharp in person. Tonight I am picking up some orange backlighting to match the rest of the dash.

Here are some crudy shots from half dead digi camera. As soon as the sun comes out I will take some paned back shots showing it better.

First shot makes it look like the metal doesnt match. On the contrary it matches VERY well. The average joe would think it was stock

I took these with 0 flash.... in the darkness.

It DOES light up evenly in person. I mounted the switch in the change holder hole so it came out pretty clean!

I like this, Wadd. Update with prices when you get a chance.

Also, WHAT is the criteria for posts to be in a certain forum. WHY was this moved from Appearance? What does this have to do with audio except that it is placed under the CD player, etc.?? I'm becoming annoyed with some of this moving around.

Im going to have to agree with that. Then If I post it in Private Classifieds it gets deleted I am a private seller. The only reason I have a name "sk products" is so that people have a way to associate a part with "that guy". All my parts are custom made, by me, packaged in my living room, and mailed by me at the post office. Im just an enthusiast making things that were requested and turning it around to give it to the general public. I wouldnt consider myself a business considering I only do this in my spare time and work a full time job as an engineer at Yamaha.

Anywho, check out my site (below) it has the price and so forth on there. click on nissan, then click on the single din kit.

I am definitely interested, but have a question.

Currently, I have a metra dash kit. Will this replace the kit or is it something that gets installed over the kit?

Throw that kit AWAY!!!

This is a full replacement as mentioend before. It WILL hold your stereo and utilize the stock mounting brackets. Tonight the install instructions will be posted on my website.

If you want to order please contact me soon. I will be cutting 4 more sets in two days. They sell pretty quick

Looked closely at the pics in the install. Will there be a amber plastic piece behind the cutout ? If not there'll be just holes in there. For all you know, one of my friends will feed coins in there to drive me nuts.

wadd,

Got my din plate today, great job. In your install did you bend the plate to match the curve of the dash? If so how did you do it? it looks good right now " Still need to do a few adjustments to the head unit and align it a little more", but over all I am very happy with this product.

Please if you have any ideas pn how to curve the plate let me know.

Thanks,
Dmazyn
