If you want to make it cleaner hide the Sat reciever underneath the rear strut top plastic planel. Just pull it off and there is just enough room to mount it.

I did that ("hide the Sat reciever underneath the rear strut top plastic planel."), but noticed momentary loss reception in areas where the signal was more susceptible to blockage (i.e., heavily tree-lined boulevards with overhead branches). I've moved my satellite receiver antenna between "on-top-of" and "below-underneath" the rear strut bar, and notice I get more reliable reception when the receiver antenna is "on-top-of" the rear strut bar. I suspect that reception for satellite radio is best when you minimize the "layers-of-interference" to reception. The best reception is a "naked" antenna facing South.

But, in the end I agree with your advice since it is a stealth installation. And, there is no issue with reception quality since satellite radio is either "non or all" (i.e., you either get it "full quality" or not at all).

Very clean. I've always steered away from rewiring new thicker speaker wires because it looks like a ***** to do.

Ill move the sat antenna another day.

Over all, I rate the install 8 out of 10. Dont attempt it if you dont have patience or know how. But, if you actually want to learn about the wiring and insides of your Z, DO IT!!!!

I reaserched this site for days taking notes, and using some pointers from some of the people here.

^^ That is exactly what you want to do, based upon the good advice you receive on this Forum. Good choice.
