This looks great so far, beautiful set up and install.

I still do have some questions about that SK plate. How did you (or the shop) get it to match the contour of the console and still have the head unit fit the opening? And, what material was used around the edges on the inside to block the light?

They bent the faceplate using a rounded roller type tool abd used black apoxi from the back to hold it in place. As for the Hu, they took the trim ring and bent and mounted it behind the faceplate which covers the space around the HU. There is no trim ring on the front side of the SK face plate. One I get the car beck I will take detailed pcis for you and post them.

 

How much did it cost to paint those kicks? They look incredible!

For getting the Kicks built and painted it was around $550.

Up close of the amp rack. Nice paint job they did matching the DB.

 

There are a few spots on the sub box where the paint bubbled up, but the paint guy will be out of town till next week. I will be getting the car back on Thursday and taken it back for them to repaint the sub box sometime next week.

I can't wait to hear the Focals in this setup it is going to be so sweet!!!
