Default Simple and Sweet Install

So at first I told myself I wasn't going to change a thing on the new Z. Well, I couldn't take the mediocre audio any longer, so I caved in. I wasn't even planning on doing the install myself, but I just couldn't trust any shop to do it, especially since I wasn't too happy about the job a shop did with my avic-d3 install. So I decided to just do it myself and save myself from worrying.

It's a simple install with some simple pieces. Just going to be some pics of the install along the way, nothing too fancy, probably just your everyday run of the mill install in factory locations (I know, I know....). Doors will be deadened as well with eDead.

Head Unit: Pioneer Avic-D3 (who doesn't have this??)
Fronts: DLS UP6
Rears: none
Sub: JL 10w3v3
Enclosure: Wicked C.A.S. Corner Magic
Amp: Alpine PDX 4.150

Some pics of the amp wiring prep and amp rack prep. Amp is in the compartment behind the driver seat.

More pics of amp installed and sub installed to come. DLS's haven't come in yet (dunno what's takin dls so long).

Some pics during the install. Running new wires into the doors was probably the worst and most tedious I have ever done.

i wished that were the case. It's my friend's garage, and his roommate wasn't home to move the car, so just had to make do with the situation.

I've wired/installed about 4 setups now, so it wasn't too hard for me. If it's your first time, it will definitely be a little intimidating, but just take your time. It's very rewarding once it's all done.
