I would suggest never using liquid nail on a subwoofer box. The fumes made by liquid nail are highly explosive. A installer at a shop I use to work at used liqiud nail on a subwoofer enclosure in a jeep cherokee. When he turned on the system the box exploded. It inverted both 12in alum. eclipses. Both side windows were busted out, and the rear window was busted by the amp that flew through it, and then landed on the sc 400 parked behind the jeep. The installer was burnt on the back of the head and arm. You could be a loose speaker terminal away from an explosion. I hope not....tick,tick,tick,tick,BOOM!!!!

Sorry to bring back a dead thread but I figured it would be better than adding another one...anyway...
How did you remove the metal panel for the stock sub-woofer?

Hmmmm, your kidding right? I know LN gives off some bad fumes, but exploding??? I used a can and a half on my small sub, but let it dry for over a week before I installed it. IF I didn't it would have given me a sever headache in the car breating that sh*t in... I've had it in the car for two weeks and no exlplosions For anyone scared by this I would just use the LN anyway and let it dry thoroughly.
Peace
