Thanks man. Hit me up if you have questions. Why did you remove your PC?
2 crashed hard drives and the Lilliput touch screen cracked.
The boot time drove me crazy. It was fast at first but it slowed down after time. You know the more that you put on the pc the slower it gets. The dvd skipped every once in while.
I took out the screen and replaced it with an Eclipse avx2404 but I kept the pc for a while, but it wasn't much use without the Lilliput screen.

Are you using a power converter for your Xbox? If so, what brand and model? Does you get any noise on your screen from your power source?

According to my receipt, they used a SPV-3 SIMA Power Inverter 300 Watts. Looks like the retail was $59.95, they sold it to me for $40. No noise on the screen from the power source, video looks great. Hope this answers your questions.

Kinda, the Xbox lid if you will was removed. The Xbox rests behind the black vinly in the passenger side under the dash. Most people that get in my car don't even notice, I have to point out to them where the actual Xbox is located

Thanks man, that was the reaction I was going for when I came up with the design.

Thanks Zster

I have awesome news, I sent my pics into Car Audio and Mobile E(Mobile Entertainment) and I received a call back from Mobile E and my system is going to be featured in their magazine. For those of you that don't subscribe they only have 6 issues a year. He said the next edition is full but maybe the next edition I will be in. He said he can't tell me exactly when but they will have exclusive rights once I complete the forms and send back in. I am so excited, I was going for a magazine type install when I took it to the shop so this is like a dream come true. I was afraid the rest of my car was too stock for them to consider but I guess not. The Z is such a hot car right now for magazines.

The Microsoft wireless Xbox adapter is located in the glove compartment behind the passenger seat. You can remove the bottom section/cover and it is located under that. It works great and it's pretty cool to park in the garage and copy games, songs, video's etc.. directly to the Xbox. I am still trying to figure out how to copy movies and get them as one file, anyone??????

Which dash kit is that? Does the outer trim piece cover the radio and the change tray without any modifications? I want to use that kit for my 9835 and paint the outer trim ring like you did, I could leave the inside of the coin tray black, what do you think?

Congrats on the feature. That's something I'd like to do, just got a few more tweaks to do. Maybe one day.

There's someone on one of the forums I frequent that has done it. Gotta look it up.

Thanks stu and I you don't know how much I would appreciate if you can find that info out for me, I would be your best friend

I am so stoked about the feature. They are coming toward the end of next week to take some photos but I still don't know when it will be in the mag, I will find out more then. They are changing their name from Mobile Entertainment to Road & Track Roadgear, I think it might be in their 1st issue but don't know for sure.

Not quite sure I understand your question but this Metra kit is just one solid piece, They added a pieces to cover the empty din and put the Xbox DVD ROM there and painted the whole thing silver. I had the whole silver and black theme in the car including the exterior, that is why i wanted all the fiberglass pieces painted silver.

As for your setup, i think it would look pretty cool but don't know you car color, future plans etc..

I've already ripped a dvd to the HD, just gotta test it. I'll probably do that this weekend.
