I hope you can help me. I’m preparing my Nissan 350z to do drift but when I take off the radio the car doesen’t turn on. Do you know why or what I have to do? Thanks

 

Hmm. I stripped the car bare of everything including the radio, all controls and gauges and it still ran fine. I did find that without the control unit located behind the A/C controls the gauges do not work, but it doesn't affect the engine ability to run. Is it an aftermarket radio? Could've been wired in such that that it triggers the immobilizer if removed. Does the red light on the dash by the windshield stay on with solid red light? That would indicate immobilizer kicking in.
