Damn.... this is my worse day of my Z.... was driving besides the cement mixer truck in the city (slowly) today and suddenly felt that my car was moving side way... when I looked into my side mirror... my rear quarter was stucked with the truck's front corner... well.... here is the lesson that we need to learn... NEVER.... NEVER drive at the blind spot of the TRUCK.... and of course this isn't my fault, but will result not having my Z for a while and heaps of inconveniences...

I've had a picture of your Z on my desktop wallpaper ever since you posted a pick of it with the Nismo spoiler way back when. (you know..the ones with the foggy background)

Now it's been jacked up by a cement mixer?!?!?

I'm sorry to see and hear that....I hope your Z gets back to tip top shape in no time.

At least you're OK and it looks like the damage is limited to just that panel.

 

Sorry to hear about the accident. I hope all is well when it is repaired. Least it doesn;t look like it has damaged the door.

 

What sh#t bad luck, as others have menioned it could have been worst but I know that doesn't help, I went through the same when my lovely Nissan dealer damage the front of mine during the 10K service ($2000 worth, no car for 5days) it not a nice feeling seeing the car you cherish damaged. Good luck don't take second best on the repair.

You need a HiTech catback system to cheer you up.

Thanks everyone... this kinda thing really pisses me off and costs me quite a lot of time running around and waiting on the phone...

I wish I could be able to get the HiTech catback system... but after spending money on the Nismo front bumper with the EXPENSIVE SHIPPING = 700 AUD alone.... I might only get that a bit later on when I earn more money! will love to have that!

Like everyone else has said, that is really some bad luck. I know what you mean about taking up alot of time and being annoyed (I had someone hit me - not in the z though - and it was really a pain).

I hope that you are alright though and wernt injured Eg wiplash etc. and that the car is repaired good as new.
