Jacko

I have been talking to the the guys at Chiptorque a while back regarding the Xede Piggyback ECU unit for the 350Z and they mentioned they had done only one car plus their own test car. I'm assuming it was your car they where referring to, so when you refer to Chiptorque's ECU addons your referring to the Xede unit.
I'm interested it this mod and have found a tunning shop here in Melb who specialitises in the Xede unit. What was your overall impression of the Xede mod.

Thanks in advance.

As you may remember I had the muffler only before Lambros developed the Y-Pipe plus centre pipe, it is a worth while mod giving better mid range torque plus a slightly deeper note in the low rev range and yes it should fit ok.

you correct, I was the last fitted and it had a substantial increase in performance with no noticable effect on fuel economy. I drove from the Gold Coast to Alice via Mt Isa and I got 700 pus Klm per tank sometimes up to 760, but it has a lot more torque down low and the best thing is as I modify the car more I can plug in my laptop and upgrade the ECU at any time. Has Chiptorque spoken to you about the exhaust I had done at Tiapanxp.

No, but I mentioned I had the HiTech Catback system which gave me around 16rwkw increase. Did the 10rwkw increase you saw just the Xede or a combination of exhaust and the Xede, what was your total gains can you post any dyno sheets?

I have a car bra for long distance travels, but around town the front fairs OK, its the side skirts that take a hammering, trying work out a rubber seal for the skirt to prevent the paint chips.

My Z has the full veilside body kit - Carbon fibre all round except the defuser on the back.

I showed some photoes on another post - she's all banged up at present after my son went for a joy ride.

how can you fit a car bra when you have a VS1 bodykit on? Do you have to take it off in order to fit the car bra?
