No probs cold dude. It's a long shot anyway. Was really only interested in the wheels so I could put some real brakes on the car. Also just remembered Richies came with new tyres - not some busted-a$$ feathered ones. Gotta Luuuuuuuv the Nisshit!!! But.... you never know, I'll have to buy new 17" tyres anyway before long and I might be persueded for the right price - let me know.

Just had a thought. Scary huh?!!

Anyway, was wondering if anyone has had any tyre probs with the touring set-up? ie: excessive wear or feathering. Might be a problem with the 18's somehow or the vdc or track set-up?

I'm on the 17's with a touring model (no vdc) and have had exceptional life out of my tyres.

Just a curious thought.

Just a quick update on the 'tyre squealling' problem I have/had:
- The front seemed to have stopped squealling now that I have pumped up the pressures there to 40psi (before I was running 33psi at the front).
- The rear sqealling seems to be dependant of the road/conditions and only happens on tight corners and in particluar when starting from standstill. It seems it's got something to do with the LSD (as someone mentioned). Seems like the inside wheel tries to move a tad quicker than it should and hence the tyre squeal. Again, it's hard to reproduce and it not always there ... it just sometimes (rarely) makes an appearance.

ps. Another possiblity, which is hard to verify, that it has to do with the tyres when they are newish and have still very high thread-blocks. I have now 2800km on them so maybe it's just going away as I get more tyre wear?
