Well my Zed is dead. The alternator wasnt charging the battery and as I result it died. I had the Road Side Assistance/ NRMA guy come out and tell me I had 15min of driving left so I went straight to Nissan but it only lasted 10min. The car died on Lane Cove Road and Bridge Steet. RSA/ NRMA sent one toe truck to toe me 100m up the road, then I waited for the same NRMA guy to come back who then called another toe truck to take me to Nissan. Talk about a waste of time, I left at about 4 and the car didnt get to Nissan till 7, thank god they were still open otherwise I would have had to leave it on the street!

I was supposed to go on a 'driving holiday' down the coast in my modded Zedd on monday, looks like that wont be happening now.

FYI The The first NRMA guy to come check out the car loved the Zed and he apparently doesnt like many cars. And some woman in her car on bridge street stopped as I was getting it toed and asked what kind of car it was and that it was very nice. Another guy said it shouldnt be like that and to take it back to Nissan(which is what I was doing.). But yeah, alot of people like our 350's.

 

Wow sorry to hear that. Don't know why it causing the alternator to stop functioning. But i'm glad, everything will be sorted out

 

That's an unusal failure so early on. Hope they get it back to you before the weekend.

at least better than my Mini which just had a steering rack failure, and the part have to flown in from Germany, now no Mini for 2 weeks!!!

Update,
Nissan has just decided its the altenator(12:15pm) and the parts have to come in from Adelaide so if all goes well i'll have the car back by tuesday afternoon. Not good. Somebody upstairs does no like keeping me on the road.
