Default Rattling Cupholder

I'm out of patience and ideas to stop the fuggen' thing from fattling - either in OR extended.

Any ideas?

I've not had this problem.
Do you know exactly which piece is rattling? If you can locate it, it may be just a matter of applying a bit of blue tack to the offending piece.

If you don't use it do what I did. Extend it but keep it in the closed position. Tape it closed with gaffer tape and push it back in.

i've got no rattles from it.... meybe fill it with some material or sponge to reduce motion. Or gaffa tape it like Aps said.

I just fiddled with the springy bit and it shut up....
