Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the Z purchase.
I get excited every time I'm about to go for a drive and I've had my Z for over 1 year now!
Sounds like the fun starts on Monday for you. Make sure you keep us all posted on you impressions of the Z once you get your hands on the wheel.

Welcome....
if there is one good bit of advice we can give you is to put on a good wax/polish asap. The Nissan paint job is skimpy at best.
Btw great price you got there too.

i think yeah the first thing i do will be a good wax and clean the windows ?? i was hearing stuff about greasy windows ..
anyway im gonna give it a nice welcome ....
i scored the white one.... last one in WA... and its a 2003 model , the dealer hadnt sold it since then, so it was a luck thing that they still had one from then ....
mmm chip resistant that sounds good, i may have to invest as i work 20min down a country road, i hate chips....

Well, if you hate chips then let me tell you the nissan paint chips badly, since I had a bit of tiny fender bender, my bumper is getting replaced and I'm also getting new paint and clear coat. My previous bumper had lots of chips in it, the sight wasn't preatty. I'm thinking about getting a bra this time around, mostly for the highway crusies. I think the chips are also caused by the type of material which is used for the bumper, when a rock hits it (in my case any way), it can leave a big indetation/creater. I'm not sure if any sort of paint will help with that.

haha yeh i got mine from Melville as well - it was the best deal (saved myself $13,000 by going there instead of NorthSide Nissan) i could find plus the salesmen werent a bunch of tossers like usual !!!!
i was pretty close to buyin the white one but then he said he had a new platinum for about the same $$'s . .. so i went for that instead...
whereabouts you work? might see u on the road very soon !!!!!
