Anyone other than me doing this in June?

I instruct with this organization, and I still also service the rotary community as well, so it is good for us to be there. Each year a group of my friends make this event our 'reunion' of sorts, and this year, the event organizer is going to have a moment of silence for a recently lost close friend of ours and his.
Also, I'm racing in Palm Beach the weekend of April 9 and 10.

i'm doing rockingham two weeks earlier with the Z club as well, so i'll see you there.
andy,
i know i should support the z club and all, but come on...4.2 miles, 28 turns, all kinds of elevation change, and only 1.25 hours from my house. i know i'll do roebling eventually, but no way am i passing up grand east course to do it this year.

How did you like RA John? We are headed down to watch Jason H. debut his T2 350Z at RA Sunday. Maybe your video can give him a few pointers.

Sorry you're not going to be there John.
Bigdaddy - get your check express mailed to them and come visit. I'll need some reinforcements to show my brother his STi isn't all that
side-note, that sucker is fast!

Overall, another great weekend. VIR is just a wonderful track. Its a bit open, but there's enough twisty stuff to keep me entertained. The uphill esses are just great fun - tough to get right, but when you do, you are really cooking. The left-hander following them I still am over-slowing the car for, but the off-camber track out (and big mudpit if you go off) is intimidating me. I got better at it, but the NSX that went off there right in front of me mentally set me back.
Couple of short notes. The mazda group (at least at this event) allows only the advanced group to run solo. All other groups have instructors through the whole event, until the last two sessions of the second day. Normally, this is probably good. My brother was running his STi in their 'C' group (D==novice, A==Advanced), and really didn't like his instructor. He had Piper put together a great looking (and functional) harness bar and a Schroth 6pt in the car. He has limited finances, so only bought one harness (give him a break - they're $300 each). The instructor didn't want him to use the harness at all ('If I don't have one, you don't have one). Personally, I think that's ridiculous.
Otherwise, the event seemed well run, incidents were mostly minor (well, there was that guy driving his boss's elise who wadded it - not totalled, but both the nose and tail are going to have to be replaced), and, at least in the advanced group, people were respectful of point-bys and faster and slower cars. Great fun!
I'm wondering how brakes are going to survive on this car if I go FI. Lots of discussion to be had on this topic, and only time will tell how it will work out. I'm running Azenis now, and feel like I'm running out of brakes. R-compounds or slicks, plus FI == big mess, or at least that's my impression right now.
