Bought my trailer today!! I've got to go pick it up this weekend. Also, ordered another set of tires. So I'm ready to go.

John, I forget the exact cost for the room, but give them a call. I think the 2 nights averaged out to about $80.00/night.

I'm pissed that the coverage of the Grand Am Cup race didn't include any in car videos. But I'm sure Geoff will get a bunch of new ones!

And, John, don't forget, this isn't just another HPDE......this is the "BCR Harness Bar Right Coast Tour"!

Geoff.....need details on THE trailer! Sounds like a busy weekend! Road America & the Meet & picking up the trailer! I'm going to try to do RA on Friday, but then I need to spend Sunday bleeding brakes & wiring my oil temp gage........are they really saying upper 90's this weekend?

I just picked up an 18' open deck trailer. Nothing fancy, but it should get the job done. I'll probably miss ANOTHER meet, but I think I can still make the Sprints.

 

Trailer looks great Geoff! I'm jeolous! Reading other threads, it looks like most of us are going to be testing new toys! THE suspensions shipped today, and BF Jack WILL have his installed. Jackson says it only takes them 20 minutes to install!

 

I will have new toys as well... new tires and a new bling bling LSD...

 

I really didn't want to be "testing new toys" but Jackson pretty much convinced me that the new suspension would be a big improvement even with basic install and adjustements.

 

I got to test all my new toys out at watkins... after the first couple of runs and some pyrometer readings on the tires, the car felt great. Only thing I'm missing now is a set of R-compounds!

 

Hey Chicago crew, just wanted to let you guys know that Lori and I changed our plans a bit and will be leaving Tuesday night right after the event. We are heading up to Niagara Falls for some personal time.

 

When are you all planning on getting there, Sat or Sun? I'd be interested in meeting up with you all Sunday evening when I roll into town, perhaps for some pooltime, laketime, dinner, and/or drinks (bonus if there are fishbowl margaritas).

 

John, we should be rollin into the Glen mid to late Sunday afternoon. I don't have a cell phone..... But the others do. I suggest you PM them to get their #'s.

I, for one will join you for some "fishbowl margaritas".
