Chris,

You need to have some events in Arizona or back at Spring Mountain, NV again (what a fun track!). I was the guy in the silver 350Z at your Time Attack at Spring Mountain earlier this month (second place RWD in Street class). Great fun, but I have some work to do to beat John in that FD RX-7, and I'm still cleaning the sealer off my car.

That was a great track. I wish the track had been in better condition, but it still was a good day at the track. The RX-7 wasn't to much faster then you. You can get him!
John did have good day in his RX-7, that car is quick.

We wanted to run back at Spring Mt, but they didn't have any dates available that would work in our schedule for next year for our time attack, but we'll be back there for an open track day.

Thanks for coming out, I hope to see you out there again.

My car needs a few more horsepower or else needs to lose a few pounds to catch John. Its tough to overcome a 500 pound weight advantage! Power to weight ratio rules on a track like that. He also had a slight advantage in that he had driven that track several times and it was my first time there and I was still learning the track (I know there is at least another second or two to be gained there). But it was still a blast.

John and I have even kept in contact after that event. He's a nice guy. I'm looking forward to a re-match with him at both California Speedway and Buttonwillow next year for your two west coast Time Attack events. I need to get out and get some time on those tracks first, since I've never driven either of them.

Steve
