Tracking with OEM Brembos
Anyone using aftermarket backing plates on pads in the Brembos? I had read that this can reduce heat transfer to the fluid. If so, who makes 'em, what do they cost, and do they help? Thanks in advance.

I do and I don’t have any pads backing plates yet.
Fade hasn’t been a problem. I’m running street tires tough (Falken Azenis RT-615) with dedicated track pads (Cobalt Friction SpecVR front and GT Sport rear) and RBF600 brake fluid.
I plan on running R-compounds this season so I’ll try the Ti backing plates from StopTech. Relatively cheap and not too efficient. (I once ran an asbestos NASA-like waffle heat shield and it reflected way to much heat back in the rotor)
edit: Calipers are a nice bronze color now. Working on brown this summer...
