Best way to trailer Z
You can use axle staps, which is a 2" wide by 33" long strap with a triangle on each end, and then just feed the axle strap through your wheel and clip into the snap hooks on your ratchet tie-downs. PM me if you need anything.

There are two oval shaped holes just in front of the rear wheels along the outside rail, there are also two larger round holes just behind and inboard of the front wheels in the inner rail. To connect the straps to these holes the trailer guy sold me some T type hooks that he said tow truck operators used. You insert the Ts into the holes and then connect your straps to the eye portion of the T. I also cross my straps left to right and right to left to prevent the car from moving sideways. This is a great setup, quick to connect & disconnect, no messing around with any attachment to the suspension or drive line. If you need photos of the T hooks I'll try to get a shot this week sometime.
ditto - i currently use ratchet straps through the wheels. i know its not ideal, but it has worked well for me, and makes the tie down process quick and simple. a better way would certainly be nice.

Best tie down point up front is the tow hook. Use that if possible. When these cars are shipped by train, they use these to tie them down. I bought 2 sets of cheap wheel chaulks (plastic). Placed them front of front tires and rear of rear tires. Took pieces of 2 X 4 and screwed them on the outside of all tires (to stop sideways movement) and other pieces to hold wheel chaulks in place (to stop front and back movement). Sorry that no pics were taken but the car spent 5 hours travelling on some of the worst roads in Northern Alberta. At end of trip, the car had moved approx 1/2".

You really don't rely on one point tie down, Do you? The Z moved 1/2" on a 5 hour trip should tell you that that is just asking for trouble. There is not much room between the wheel wells and the sides of your car in that trailer.

Check out a company called M&R products. They pretty much cover everything, option wise, that you could need. We have customers that use everthing from heavy duty D-rings on lca's to wheel nets.
