There is a Solo-II event in Montgomery, NY at the Orange County Airport this Sunday April 9. I was wondering if anyone wanted to meet there. The event is sponsored by the Poughkeepsie Sports Car Club. The info. can be found on their website.

You don't have to be a member, cost is $30 and all you need is your ride and a helmet.

Me and a buddy w/ a TT Supra are going. This will be my 1st event. I'm excited to check the sport out and get my feet wet. Anyone have any tips?

yeah, scca in jersey is having a test and tune on sat. at englishtown and the M-Club is having an autox/solo I at the meadowlands i think. I should be attending both!

 

M-club? I hate to sound like an ignorant ****, but is that "M" as in beemer?? These events sound better than the one I'm going to...are they open to non-members?

 

why cant jersey have events on sunday? jezuz im so dead tired on saturday mornings. i might give it a try though... might go out and check it out.

 

So I looked it up M-club as in Motorsports club. ME <<<A duh. I'm stuck babysitting my nephew this Sat. and was going to take him to SEMA but his dad(my bro.) is a HUGE sports adovocate and won't let him miss his baseball practice that day.

I would go, but I'm working tomorrow. The airport site is ok, its a long, out and back course because of the narrow taxi ways. They generally put on a good run.
