Hey, Toyo People!
I'm going to run my 1st track session on 275 RA-1's and would like a head start on tire pressure. I'm on stock alignment and am looking for a baseline recommendation. For reference, I used to run 245 AO32's at 29-30 PSI cold and pick up 8-9 pounds in the first session.
Thanks,
Tim

I usually start off the Toyo RA-1 at 30-31 psi cold, on a G35, which is a couple hundred pounds heavier than your Z.
If you are in the dry, you might also want to consider their sister company Nitto's NT-01 offering. Stiffer sidewall with more responsive modulation, wider tread blocks, little bit stickier. Very nice tire. Noisier however. And a definite "no-no" in the wet.

Ah, great. If you are running a 275 up front, be careful about rubbing on the inside. With a 9.5" wide rim and 27mm offset I have to use a 3mm spacer on the fronts to keep them from rubbing my upper control arm (perf nissan adjustable front uca with 3.5 degrees negative camber set).

No rubbing issues and it gives the car very good balance (with perhaps just a hint of oversteer). Just ask Eagle1 (Ed), since he followed me for a while at Cali Speedway one Saturday in early March.

If it's dry, the Toyo's can be run "backward", so I can swap them left and right.
Front to rear might be tricky because I have 9in rims in the front and 10in in the rear. Still doable, but I might have rollover problem with the 9in wheels in the rear...
