Thanks for vids Chris. I see what you mean by the tight course. There's not a lot of room for line changes, and that ice mode looked just like mine on Sunday.
Don't get too discouraged. I run this type of race most of the time in CKR (small sites). The Z is a challenge here, but then I really have to struggle when we get out on something like Fort Knox or the Ford plant at Sharonville where we occasionally hit 3rd gear (little experience at higher speeds). The Z is still a good car, but I've had to learn to use it strenghts, and live with its problems. I used to push in the elements like crazy until I took the vette approach, and broke hard so I could use the gas to get me back out faster and in much more control. With the exception of sweepers, I leave 8 to 10 elements in a 4-wheel drift. No more trying to carry speed for me. The negative is that this is the hardest way there is to remain consistant. Just my 2 cents as a rookie, but I gave up trying to make the car "conform" late last year, and my times have improved as a result.
I hope it's not too pretentious of me to offer pointers to someone that would whip me on any course with about any car. I've just had a lot of practice working with other drivers that get irritated from time to time. The most beneficial upgrade I've made yet is in my head. The Z is competative, but not every event will let it really stretch its legs. My guess is that my car has a lot more potential than the driver does (in my case). So far, this season is proving me right.

BUYNISSANPARTS..........I know ULLLOSE and am certain that he was only kidding and in no way meant his comment to be taken negatively. He watches the Z lists like some of us watch the RX8 lists simply because we respect the competition and want to see what they are up to next.....as if they would tell us.......but we listen in anyway.

SEB has nothing to do with it... The only time you will see something from me as an SEB member is in Fastrack, anything else I post it just mho.

Chris, My buddy Brian put my stock Track Z within 2 seconds of the prepped 8s at the AI event this weekend. On street tires no less... I really wanted Lee to drive it but he went home early since he did not bring his BSP M3...
