Suspension Advice and Opinions
I have a 2003 Track Model Z and I'm looking to get some opinions from people that autox often. What suspension do you have? Why did you decide to go with what you have? My dilemma is I want something that will perform well and still be streetable and not have a harsh ride. I had a fully prepped S14 with KTS coils, and adjustable arms everywhere with spherical bearings and while they were great on the track not too nice on the streets. I'm just trying to decide between a full coilover setup or a spring and shock combo. I think my first upgrades will be sways, I'm not sure on those either I'm leaning towards the Tanabe since that's what I had on my S14. Just looking to get some opinions on setups from people in BS and BSP. Thanks.

If you're looking for BS jun14scr is correct, a set of Koni adjustables and a sway bar are your only options.
BSP I don't know about, never looked at anything other then BS for my car.

If you go BSP, I would recommend adjustable sway bars so you can really dial in to rotation for tight courses. As for coilovers, you probably should stay with spring rates in 550# range, anything stiffer will probably be more than your looking for in a street ride.
I run Tien Flex and the springs are 667# all round and its stiff. Its streetable, but its not my daily driver, so I like it.

What is 550 = in Kg? I'm leaning towards the Cusco Zero 2 coilovers. Spring rates are 10 kg in the front and 7 kg in the rear. Aren't the Flex's 12 front and rear? Do you think I will need the adjustability in the sways?

When my car was a daily driver/autocross/track car I ran the 350EVO sways and Tien Flex w/EDFC and loved it. It may not be the absolute best setup for handling but the EDFC gave a good variety of stiffness. I ran full stiff on the track and full soft on the street. That would be my vote since you probably arent looking to win national level BSP races.
