I’ll only be there Monday, so no super-sessions for me this time.
I’m still debating driving the Z to the event or pulling it with the truck.

So? Who’s going?

I can't make it, but have fun. I broke a lug nut trying to get my track tires off hot at the end of the NASA event this weekend - so for what it is worth- tow it!
Oh, and you wanted to know about the Cups - couldn't ask for any better grip, although the VDC doesn't like it when the track got really hot (100+) and I was throwing rubber all over the place on the corners! The guys with the RA1's where pretty happy too, although they showed a lot more wear than mine. But, they where driven by a different driver - so who knows.

I'll also be there for Monday only. Kolia, it's only an hour drive, it probably takes you that long to load/unload the car from the trailer. Just drive it

I’ll see if I can get the trailer and will probably tow the Z. The Titan makes a great HQ/rain protection. I prefer to have more tools and a place to leave the laptop and camera.

All this talk about broken wheel studs makes me wonder if I should get a spare set just in case…

I would highly recommend having some spare wheel studs on hand. I learned this the hard way after a broken stud forced me to miss a track day at PPIR (now defunct), and caused me to lose my entry fee to the event.

Have fun guys... I had planned on being there, but I'll be in sunny San Diego for work. I still need to figure out when I can get out to Mid-Ohio this year...

No new surface for you !

It'll be used once you do come.

Admit it, you're afraid of loosing to me in the Tow vehicle + Z drag race challenge !

I'm thinking about it. Would be nice to shake down my Z before the race that weekend. And I've heard great things about the new track surface.

Does anyone know if they need instructors?

yeah, I got an email back from them today that they are all set, unless someone signs up and request me. Oh well, guess we'll just qualify the car Saturday a.m. and see how she's running

Have fun up there. If anyone needs an instructor, let me know

Slight change of plan for me. I'm driving the Z to MidOhio, no Titan.

I'll be sharing a garage with J Lucas (Silver Z06), just beside the twin yellow Type-Rs
