Have a great time this weekend and take some pictures. Make sure you hook up with Levent as I am sure you will have a blast with them. I will be at Barber this weekend - looking forward to it.

Are you going to Road Atlanta in August with NASA? If you are, let me know as I will be there.

 

We had a heck of a time this weekend. Sean and I played back and forth on the track a good bit. He's a heck of a driver. I've got some good in-car video and a lot of pictures. We had a lamborghini gallardo show up for a little while. I'll post pictures and video up shortly.

 

Great - Sean is a super guy - sounds like you guys had fun!

 

Here's Sean. He had a good weekend too. I have an in-car of him going straight off of turn 8 due to brake failure. I'll post a link when that gets uploaded today or tomorrow.



We also had this car show up which was quite a surprise. Man it was pretty!

All I have to say is you have to try CHIN! Most of the cars are race cars (usually GT3 cups) or high end street cars (GT3, Turbos and 430's). And you can get 5 hours of track time/day if you want to. My limit was about 3.5 hours/day. Kind of weird starting out a track session with a full tank and almost running out of gas by the end (since they are up to 1 hour long)!

And when you go to Barber, you will be able to see most of the coarse. Yet, you will see enough to see why people call this the premiere road coarse in America!

 

I'm going to try Chin next. I've heard nothing but good things about it lately.

 

Let's go to Sebring in October with Chin? I was also planning on going to VIR with Chin in November too.

It is amazing how relaxed you are when you don't have to rush to a time schedule! Even though it is more $/day, you get more laps/$ than NASA. And it is pretty cool to see cars like the GT3, NSX and Turbo fully modified for the track. And the people driving the **** out of them. Although one of the GT3 cups that passed me, crashed right in front of me. And it was not a small crash, one where the car was totalled. WOW, I got to practice some car control then, and came away without a scratch.

I didn't take many pictures, since they had a professional photographer and I ordered one of his CD's. When I get it, I let you see just what I mean.

I don't mean to downplay NASA, they have a great program and I will continue with them too.

Great meeting you. That was a hell of time. I wish I hadn't had the brake problems so that I could have given you more of a run for your money on Sunday.

I can't wait to see the video. That was quite a ride. I'll probably spend all weekend getting sand out of the car.
